The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for building, implementing, and supporting analytical solutions used across Applied Global Services. The right individual will possess knowledge in all stages of BI project work (design, implementation, testing, and deployment) and will have experience of Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy interactive data visualizations using Power BI
- Create effective Power BI dashboards, reports, and applications utilizing best practices
- Using statistical data analysis and tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
- Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for accuracy and efficacy
- Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems
- Design, develop and deploy Enterprise BI solutions that leverage common data architecture and data optimization approaches
- Incorporate user feedback to promote and drive adoption
- Design, develop, optimize, maintain, and support data processes
- Provide day to day support for business analytics applications built using Power BI
Requirements
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Student must be in good academic standard at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Proven analytical thinking for translating data into insightful analytics and visuals.
- Experience in data modeling, designing data warehouses/data marts and reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics solutions
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks, etc.) and their applications/advantages/disadvantages.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distributions, statistical tests, etc.) and experience with applications.

U.S. Salary Range:
$72,000.00 – $99,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
