This role is for an experienced program leader to head strategic initiatives on data management solutions, and data engineering activities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Lead and oversee the Enterprise Programs AI Working Group
  • Coordinate the charter of the AI WG to align with the enterprise AI COE strategy and direction.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the AI workstreams within the AI working groups, including communication, charter development, goals and deliverables, resource support, and any other related tasks.
  • Work with global partners and functional leaders to promote AI Working Group program among practitioners of AI across the enterprise, and at appropriate scientific and engineering venues for the enterprise, including S&T, and other meetings.
  • Serve as the spokesperson for the program with senior leadership
  • Manage the program budget as needed.
  • Support the investigation, evaluation and benchmarking of competitive AI technologies and industry perspectives.
  • Support the conceptualization of new AI methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
  • Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development in the AI WG.
  • Selects, develops and engages personnel to engage in the AI WG activities
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Strongly Preferred:
o Previous Medtronic experience
o Background in AI or data science
o Strong ability to lead and motivate teams from different functional areas
o Experience in managing complex projects and programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams.
  • Ability to align cross-functional efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise from cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders from different functional areas.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
