We’re looking for a talented and experienced Front End Operations Lead to join our dynamic Generative AI team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Front End Operations Lead for our suite of AI tools. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the front end development operations, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our AI tools across various platforms and devices.
This position can be performed as a Level 3 or Level 4, depending upon the candidate’s education and experience. The role can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the front end operations in designing, implementing, and maintaining user interfaces for our suite of AI tools.

Collaborate closely with the product management, backend operations, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.

Develop and implement best practices for front end development, including coding standards, performance optimization, and user experience design.

Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-quality product and adherence to enterprise standards.

Work closely with UX/UI designers and Training leads to maintain the enterprise systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front end development and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Work closely with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front end functionality and performance in a timely manner, as well as implement recommended best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure the successful integration of front end components with backend systems.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in front end development, with a strong focus on customer facing enterprise services

Experience in managing front end customer enterprise operations

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issue

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure is desired

Knowledge of AI technologies and machine learning concepts

Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in a complex, technical environment

Salary Range: $118,000 – $177,000
Salary Range 2: $146,300 – $219,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
