We are hiring an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Practice Lead, considering candidates across Mexico.
Overview:
As the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Practice Lead at IO Connect Services, you will play a pivotal role in building, shaping, and advancing our AI/ML capabilities, driving innovation, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.You will lead a team of talented AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that leverage the power of cloud technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in helping our clients unlock the potential of their data and achieve transformative business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
Define and execute the AI/ML practice strategy in alignment with the company’s overall goals and vision.Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of AI/ML innovation.Collaborate with senior leadership to drive the practice’s growth and profitability.
Client Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique challenges and requirements, and proposing AI/ML solutions that drive value and impact.Lead client workshops, presentations, and consultations to showcase the potential of AI/ML technologies for their specific use cases.Manage client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of AI/ML projects on time and within budget.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers.Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
Solution Design and Development:
Lead the design and architecture of AI/ML solutions that leverage cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, deployment, and monitoring.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into larger cloud solutions.
Thought Leadership:
Establish the company and yourself as thought leaders in the AI/ML space through publications, conference presentations, and industry events.Contribute to whitepapers, case studies, and other collateral that showcase the impact and success of AI/ML projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in leading AI/ML initiatives, preferably within a cloud solutions or consultancy environment.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with relevant services and tools is a plus.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.A track record of successfully delivering AI/ML projects, from conception to deployment, with a focus on driving business impact.Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
