As a Data Product Manager in Consumer & Community Banking in the Home Lending Data Owner team, you’ll play a key part in running programs at the forefront of Chase’s data modernization efforts, leading the Home Lending into an AI analytics and cloud-first based strategy. This is a unique opportunity to manage the design and implementation of a hyper scale data platform that will underlay the migration of our existing $200M+ Home Lending data ecosystem to the cloud.

In this position you will be responsible for supporting technical architecture, AI/ML and data design, and strategic decisions around the design of, investment in, and decommissioning of elements of the Home Lending Servicing Product that is created, provisioned, or consumed to support strategic business objectives, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting. 

As a member of the Data & Analytics team, you will collaborate with transformation leaders, designers, and developers to ensure that Home Lending Products leverage state-of-the-art cloud architecture while effectively navigating the firm’s current-state hybrid environment. 

You will partner with aligned Data Owners, Data Scientists, and Analysts, to drive increased business value through the identification of data required to support advanced analytics outcomes such as customer segmentation, personalization, and AI/ML, including Generative AI models.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Proven experience in a team manager role within a data-driven organization.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing and deploying AI/ML models at scale.
  3. Experience in product management, including the development and launch of new data products.
  4. Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  5. Experience in strategic planning and execution of data initiatives.
  6. Familiarity with data governance and data privacy regulations.
  7. Experience in the use of data visualization tools and data analysis software.
  8. Prior experience in Home Lending 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. 
  2. Strong understanding of AI/ML use cases and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  3. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

A Master’s degree or PhD would be a plus
