Key Objective
- To provide meaningful, insightful, high quality and timely actuarial reports and advice to various global actuarial teams and business units across various lines of business and geographies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for implementation of LDTI in one or more Asia Pacific markets.
- Prepare and review valuation reports according to the LDTI reporting.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Aid in implementing internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure the maintenance of documentation for each process and audit requirements including data, models, assumptions and analysis to support the delivery of high-quality financial results and analysis
Should have experience analyzing cash flows in Prophet models, or a similar Actuarial software, and reconciling with XL pricing models.
Create Valuation reporting and reconcile from Prophet runs.

Qualifications, Skills and Credentials
Undergraduate/Post graduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc
Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail and problem solving ability
Profound knowledge of LDTI/US GAAP.
Member of Actuarial Society(IAI/IFOA/SOA) with minimum 3 papers cleared (may differ based on hiring level)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel and office applications
Porficiency in Prophet, or similar Actuarial software
Prior exposure or experience in some of the following tools/software shall be advantageous – VBA, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Qlik.
Experience
3-4 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry, preferably Life Insurance.
