Job Description

What is the job about?

An Associate Finance Specialist is an important and valuable part of Grundfos Group Tax team. The Associate Finance Specialist is the overall responsible for the Indirect tax activities of the assigned companies and should ensure timely submission of compliant indirect tax returns.  

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Maintain Data Models: This involves ensuring that existing data models are up-to-date, accurate and functioning as intended. This may include monitoring dana quality, updating models to reflect chnages in the business or data sources.
  • Data analysis: Analytically skilled, organize and interpret various types of data, able to effectively find, collect and other analytics in a scope of business.
  • Technical Development Assistance: Assisting in the development process for various projects. Ensuring that all projects are delivered in a consistent manner and according to agreed procedures and specifications. It may include data validation, assistance in development (python, tm1, etc).
  • Stakeholder support: Assistance to users with technical or data validation problems when using planning system or tools. This means collaboration with IS technicians, users and team members. The aim is to provide fast and effective solution to IT problems, data reconciliation/consolidation.
  • Soft skills: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others, collaborative, and eager to learn. We are looking for an individual with good troubleshooting skills.

 

 Your background

We imagine that you have:  

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience especially in the field of data analysis or data engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data concepts and financial information in a straightforward manner. Data Analysis and Engineering Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). Experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing data to derive actionable insights.  
  • Basic Understanding of Accounting and Corporate Finance
  • Preferably knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana. Familiarity with SAP BW (Business Warehouse). Experience with PowerBI for data visualization. Understanding of IBM Planning Analytics/TM1.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication in English
