Job Description

About Wrisk

Wrisk is reinventing insurance for today’s digital consumer and helping an outdated industry become relevant again in the process. In the same way that fintech companies have disrupted the traditional banking sector, reimagining financial platforms for a new generation, Wrisk’s founders share a vision for how insurance ought to be: simple, transparent and personal. Bringing together two disparate industries (technology and insurance), they have created an insurance experience like no other, centred squarely around the customer.

The result is Wrisk: flexible insurance that adapts to fit your life. Our mobile-first, frictionless platform lets people interact with their insurance provider with the same ease, speed and transparency they’re already used to having with providers in other sectors. Customers can pay monthly, instantly make changes to their cover and bring all their disclosure, payment and claim information together in a single place.

Now, with some big brand partners, we are bringing our unique customer experience and platform to market to change how insurance is bought, sold and managed.

What we are looking for…

As an experienced BI Analyst, you will be working closely with the cross-functional teams to create, modify, troubleshoot, and automate the availability of timely and accurate data, along with providing actionable business intelligence, to satisfy external and internal customers.

Adhering to tight timescales and managing the integrity of the MI Process, is essential to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete, and consistent. You’ll interpret and analyse raw data, creating meaningful reports, decks and dashboards, which translate well to a non-technical audience and confidently present to internal and external stakeholders.

There will also be an emphasis on identifying opportunities to drive changes that help transform outcomes, together with introducing methods to update, simplify, and enhance data processes, procedures, and technologies.

What you’ll do…

  • Advanced Data Management & Analysis: Extract, cleanse, and manage large, complex data sets from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the organisation.
  • Insight Generation: Conduct deep-dive analyses into customer behaviour, product performance, and market trends. Use statistical techniques and predictive models to identify key drivers of business outcomes and inform decision-making processes.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations that synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Engage closely with internal teams—including product development, marketing, and operations—and external clients to conduct detailed data and process analyses. Translate complex technical requirements into accessible, actionable strategies.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously refine and enhance our data processes and technologies, introducing next-gen analytics tools and methodologies that improve the accuracy, speed, and relevance of our data insights.
  • Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics: Implement advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modelling and machine learning, to forecast future trends, optimise product offerings, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with the commercial team and clients to evaluate product performance, providing data-driven recommendations that improve outcomes and drive satisfaction.

About You…

·  Experience

  • Over 4 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Business Analyst, with a proven track record in managing and interpreting large, complex datasets.
  • Extensive experience in the tech industry, particularly with identifying trends, conducting predictive analyses, and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Familiarity with working across multiple time zones, particularly with USA/UK clients.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QuickSight, with a strong emphasis on data visualisation and report creation.
