Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled SQL Big Data Analyst to join our team focused on analyzing data from pre/post-launched Samsung mobile products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL querying and data manipulation, with a strong understanding of big data technologies and mobile device ecosystems. This role offers the opportunity to work with vast datasets to derive insights and optimize mobile device performance.

Retrieve and analyze large datasets from various sources, including mobile devices, sensors, and user interactions, using SQL queries.

2. Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.

3. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to clean, transform, and integrate data from disparate sources.

4. Perform in-depth analysis of mobile device usage patterns, performance metrics, and user behaviors to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.

6. Create and maintain documentation for data schemas, pipelines, and analysis methodologies.

7. Build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.

8. Stay updated on the latest developments in SQL technologies, big data frameworks, and mobile device trends to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field.

3+ years of experience in SQL development and database management, with proficiency in complex query optimization and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of relational database concepts, big data technologies and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Python).

Experience with ETL tools and techniques for data integration and preprocessing.

Understanding and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proficiency speaking and writing in both English and Korean is required
Skill sets:

SQL Proficiency: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis. Strong understanding of database management systems and query optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of mobile device architectures, operating systems (Android), mobile app development and 4G/5G wireless protocol is a plus.
