Our Finance Transformation Team is responsible for Konecranes global finance and control processes and development. We are now looking for a Business and Data Analyst, Finance to join the team and operate and administer finance data globally. You will work in close collaboration with data domain network and different global teams in Finance, Controlling, Reporting and Analytics, to ensure finance vision, strategy and framework are performed within data management.

 

The position is hybrid remote and based in our headquarters in Hyvinkää, Finland.

 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Act as the primary liaison for finance data queries, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization.
  • Contribute to finance reporting and analytics development, translating business needs to IT for visualisation in analytics tools.
  • Oversee the Finance Data Catalogue by maintaining data standards and governing the data rules.
  • Develop authorization protocols to manage data visibility and secure sensitive information, adhering to data handling best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial data collection with business requirements, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Support and facilitate trainings for development teams and business users.
  • Lead continuous improvement strategies for data processes, coordinating with internal parties for strategic alignment.
  • Provide support for innovative data application, exploring and fostering business use cases for data insights.

What should you bring?

  • A degree in Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, underscoring your analytical foundation.
  • Proven experience in Data Management, demonstrating your proficiency and strategic understanding of data ecosystems.
  • An intricate understanding of data flows and diverse data typologies within complex system environments.
  • A data-centric thought process that informs decision-making and prioritization.
  • Capability to analyze and optimize systems and processes, with a commitment to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to act as the liaison between IT and business.
  • Strong organizational skills complemented by a proactive attitude in effecting change.
  • Detail-oriented and responsible, with a proactive approach, independence, and dedication to excellence.
  • Prior experience with Konecranes operations, or familiarity with SAP, Siebel CRM, Data Warehouses, Power BI, AICO, or JIRA would be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with operational, IT, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English, enabling effective communication in a global business context.
