Our Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team to help build a culture of data-informed decision-making across the company.

You’ll partner with various teams within Snyk’s to generate insights and inform good, efficient decision-making through data.

You know how to make sure data is accurate, well-organized, and accessible. You’ll use that knowledge to collaborate with internal stakeholders to build the reporting infrastructure we use to support the data needs of our business.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • working with Snyk’s data ecosystem and applying a diverse set of skills in analytics, reporting and visualization to tackle cross-functional problems and answering business questions
  • building accessible and intuitive tools and dashboards that accelerate measurement and reporting of KPIs and insight generation
  • enabling teams to explore data and measure, track, and monitor against their objectives
  • evangelising data use across the company
  • implementing data models and data governance processes to ensure scalability and maintainability

What You’ll Need:

  • care deeply about helping others make data-driven decisions
  • have an “insight-ready” mindset: you don’t just report the data; you generate insights & provide business recommendations  
  • are comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple cross-functional projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • must have strong skills in reporting using Looker (preferable) or equivalent. Should be able to utilize other technologies like CRM Analytics when suitable to business needs 
  • have strong SQL skills, experience in querying large, complex data sets using
    • Snowflake or equivalent
    • dbt or other ETL tool equivalent
  • have experience delivering BI-related training to end-users 
  • are organized, collaborative, hands-on, self-motivated, and an open communicator
  • are comfortable working in a globally distributed team across several time zones
  • have strong written and verbal communication skills 

We’d be Lucky if You: 

  • 3+ years in analytics and business intelligence roles
  • SaaS experience
