Business Intelligence Analyst, Supply Chain

OUR ROLE

Join Fiskars Group Supply Chain Business Intelligence team as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Supply Chain. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain operates efficiently through 1) accurate statistical and AI/ML demand forecasting and 2) providing data analysis and insights to Supply Chain functions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze historical sales, forecasting accuracy and bias, market, and portfolio trends to continuously look for ways to improve forecasting model and results. In addition, in this role you will build visibility and insights with BI tools Tableau and Power Bi for demand planning but also for areas of Supply Chain. In this role you will get a great opportunity to join recently established team and take part in our development journey towards better Supply Chain end to end visibility. This position is full-time, hybrid and permanent based in Espoo, Finland, and reports to our Supply Chain Business Intelligence Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP?

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze demand forecast performance, historical sales, market and portfolio trends and other relevant factors to continuously look for and suggest ways to improve forecasting model and results.
  • Facilitate statistical forecasting reviews with regional demand planning teams to optimize forecasting results.
  • Regularly assess, propose, and test improvements to forecasting models, techniques, and methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage portfolio lifecycle in partnership with demand planning teams to maximize product launch sales and minimize delisting excess and obsolete (E&O) costs.
  • Lead pilots and implementation of new statistical forecasting capabilities e.g. AI-enabled promotional planning and stay updated with forecasting and planning technological development.
  • Build Tableau and Power Bi reports and dashboards to provide data visibility and insights for demand planning as well as other areas in Supply Chain depending on the need.
  • Participate Supply Chain Data and Analytics development such as facilitating business requirements gathering or data solutioning depending on the need.

WHO YOU ARE?

Experience:

  • Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Data Science.
  • Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in supply chain, data and analytics, demand forecasting or related field preferably in an international environment. However we also welcome entry level applications and the role can be adjusted depending on the applicants experience level.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of different forecasting methods and models as well as programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python & R). Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Proficient use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Working Proficiency in English (daily working language in Fiskars). Interviews for this position are also held at least partly in English.
