Job Description: 

Viderity is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in Tableau and the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiencies. Your expertise in Tableau will enable you to transform complex datasets into insightful visualizations and provide critical data-driven support to our business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Dashboard Development:
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into visualizations.
    • Optimize dashboard performance for speed and efficiency.
    • Create calculated fields, parameters, sets, and other advanced features to enhance visualizations.
    • Develop trending charts to track metrics over time.
    • Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards across dashboards.
  2. Data Preparation and Modeling:
    • Connect Tableau to various data sources such as spreadsheets, databases, and cloud services.
    • Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis within Tableau using Tableau Prep.
    • Design data models and relationships to support complex analyses.
    • Implement data blending and data aggregation techniques.
    • Validate data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Training and Support:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on Tableau best practices, features, and functionality.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to Tableau users.
    • Develop documentation, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to assist users.
  4. Collaboration:
    1. Provide consultation on data collection processes and requirements.
    • Answers ad hoc business questions as they occur by analyzing data.

Requirements: 

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Must pass a background check
  • Proficiency in Tableau (2+ Years)
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Bonus: Proficiency in SQL.
  • Bonus: Construction Industry Experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a demonstrated ability to develop presentation materials, lead and facilitate team meetings sessions
  • Possess exceptional client and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, and continue to meet all deadlines, while remaining flexible with continually changing priorities
  • Be motivated, flexible, and a “team player”

Salary Range: 

  • $125,000 – $135,000 per year
