We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Analyst. This role requires someone with a deep expertise in SQL and a strong proficiency in using Looker for intricate data analysis and reporting. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and various other BI solutions. Your keen attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to deliver accurate insights will be key in driving data-driven decision making within our organization.

What You’ll Do:

– Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports using SQL and Looker.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

– Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for BI reporting.

– Perform complex data analysis to extract insights and support business decisions.

– Optimize and maintain database, query, and dashboard performance.

– Provide training and support to users on Looker and other BI tools.

– Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in BI technology.

Requirements

What You’ve Done:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a BI Developer/Analyst role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and experience with ETL tools.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Programming experience in Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks
  • Extensive experience with Looker, including LookML development.
