Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to create and edit visual content, including maps, charts, and graphs. You will transform complex data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling and visually appealing visuals. Additionally, you will provide visual, technical, and editorial guidance to ensure the effective communication of data insights. You will be reporting to Manager, Customer Analytics. You will be working in a hybrid work environment and required to be in the office 3 times in a week.

Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing and informative visual content, including maps, charts, graphs, and infographics, to effectively communicate data insights.

  • Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data from diverse sources.

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and implement solutions to address business needs.

  • Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and validation techniques.

  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database systems.

  • Optimize and tune data processing and storage systems for optimal performance.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and workflows.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

  • Transform complex data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into visually compelling visuals that are easy to understand and interpret

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide guidance on the most effective visual representation of data

  • Apply best practices and principles of data visualization to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence in visual presentations

  • Utilize data visualization tools and software to develop interactive and dynamic visualizations

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data visualization techniques and tools

  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members in creating visually compelling data presentations

  • Conduct quality checks on visual content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and designers, to develop comprehensive data visualizations that meet business objectives

  • Communicate complex data insights and findings through visually compelling presentations and reports

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Design, or a related field

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience as a Data Visualization Specialist or similar role

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js

  • Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices, principles, and techniques

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop

  • Excellent understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods

  • Ability to transform complex data into clear, concise, and visually appealing visuals

  • Experience in providing visual, technical, and editorial guidance

  • Portfolio showcasing previous data visualization projects
