Job Description

  • Manage a team of high-performing individuals by providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities and ensure continuous up-skilling and knowledge sharing across the teams.
  • Act as an analytical and reporting partner to various business units (Commercial, Marketing, Product, Operations), enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in data analytics projects, developing reports and dashboards for weekly and monthly business performance review.
  • Build robust tools for monitoring KPIs and enabling decision-making at the company and operations level.
  • Invest in improving the data capabilities of the organization through the implementation of new tools and adhering to best practices. 
  • Design, create, and maintain reporting and analytical capabilities aligned with business requirements and promote adoption of data self-service within the organization.
  • Integrate analytics, experimentation, and data engineering into standard operating practices of business, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
  • Identify opportunities, develop, and execute a comprehensive AI/ML strategy aligned with overall business goals and overseeing end-to-end execution of the projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Statistics, Math, Physics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • An overall of 8 to 10 years’ experience working in Business Intelligence with at least 3+ years managing a team of functional experts in delivering data-driven projects in driving business performance.
  • Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, Data Processing, and Data Visualization tools.
  • Communicate effectively with business and technical teams and have a strong ability to present to the senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Focus on impact and results. Driven, resourcefulness, and ability to persevere and overcome obstacles in achieving challenging goals.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker, and with a track record of successfully solving complex and ambiguous problems.

As the Business Intelligence Lead you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and influencing our product and business strategy through insightful analysis. You will lead a team of high-performing individuals, establish a “Data Centre of Excellence” team and champion a culture of data-informed decision-making across the organisation.
