Job Description

We are looking for a professional with at least 8 years of experience in BI solutions, with high skills and experience to lead and manage our Business Intelligence (BI) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BW4, SAP BPC, Qlik, data analysis, and project management.

As the BI Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP BI solutions to meet the organization’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on BI and Reporting platforms with proved hands-on experience.

 

Based in Milan, within the HQ IT and Digital Department, the candidate, reporting directly to the Group IT Sales Delivery Sr. Manager, will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Accountable for the delivery of AMS and IT project activities, primarily focusing on BI systems (SAP, Qlik, others) but also extending support to other central systems in the Application Area.

  • Manage internal resources, external partners, timelines and ensuring successful project completion.

  • The candidate will have governance and responsibilities for the Business Intelligence and cross-interfaces with other central systems, collaborating with all the IT HQ Applications Area, Local IT and HQ IT Digital Business Partners.

  • During roll-outs and implementation projects, the candidate will provide guidance for Fit-gap preparation, design of new functionalities, execution, data migration activities, testing, training, and post go-live support.

  • Accountable for the training and development of a team of 4/5 people for a near offshore Center of Excellence.

Who are we looking for?

Essential Skills and Experience (Must haves)

We are looking for a IT Senior Business Analyst Accounting with the following skills and motivations: 

  • Proven experience (8 + years) in SAP BI suites (preferred in BW S4HANA) and Qlik implementation and management roles

  • Hands-on experience with BI best of breed platforms with knowledge of principles and best practices

  • Provide guidance and support to team members in the successful delivery of BI solutions by leading and mentoring, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and align BI initiatives with organizational goals foster collaboration between IT and business people.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and keep them informed about BI developments in coordination with other IT counterparts

  • Coordinate the integrations of the diverse data sources to create a comprehensive view.

  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP BI solutions and other systems used within the company

  • Monitor and control costs associated with BI maintanance and projects in coordination with other IT counterparts

  • Coordinate the integrations of the diverse data sources to create a comprehensive view of organizational data.

  • Implement effective change management strategies (communication and training strategy and planning included) to facilitate the adoption of BI solutions within the organization.

  • Able to meet strict deadline and work under pressure

  • Very Good English written and oral communication skills.

  • International mobility for business travels.
