Job Description:

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Technical Lead to join our Business Insights and Analytics team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to collaborate closely to the business and project teams in order to transform data into insights, to recommend appropriate visualizations and reporting solutions, and to build a high-performing team of data analytics professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance on dashboarding / business intelligence requirements
  • Attend to complex design and development of business intelligence tools based on specifications
  • Work closely with the team to understand the solution, define estimates and development approach
  • Conduct code reviews, scripts analysis and optimization, as well as testing of reporting automations / business intelligence solutions developed by the team
  • Research and development of process and technical improvements for reporting solutions

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree holders are welcome to apply
  • Experience: At least (5) years of relevant experience
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement (3x onsite): Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
  • Shift Schedule (mid/night): Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (dependent on business need)
  • Knowledgeable in any of the following – Qlikview, Power BI, Azure Data Lake or any similar tool
  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of reports and dashboard development in multiple BI platforms
    • Ability to identify and resolve issues, and recommend best visualizations and reporting solutions based on reporting requirements
    • Ability to coach and provide support to subordinates, project teams, and stakeholders
    • Planning and organizational skills, including ability to prepare schedules and communicate status of overall development effort
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
