Job Description

Will you actively create a healthier future for tomorrow?

At Medibank we’re encouraged to think big. We have a clear purpose to impact better health outcomes for our customers, patients and our community.

We celebrate diversity of thought because we want to make better decisions for our customers. As we work towards our goal of better health for better lives, we value the knowledge and contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.

We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Campaign Data Analyst to join our Marketing Team in this 13 month fixed term contract role. The role is a key influencer in business decisions that drive revenue growth for Medibank.

You would take on responsibility for leveraging the systems capability provided by our customer data mart (CDM) and campaign management system (CMS) through developing customer contact extraction and analytics processes, ensuring the delivery of quality and timely customer contact aligned to the overall marketing contact strategy.

Working across our high-profile Loyalty and Customer Health portfolios (both are dynamic, high profile areas of our business where lots of new and exciting things are always happening), day to day you would be responsible for:

  • Deciding if your day is best spent working at home or the office – we don’t have mandated office attendance here at Medibank, but we will need you to come along to team days and events.
  • Implementing robust and automated data extraction processes to enable effective and compliant execution of campaigns and contact management strategy
  • Maintaining campaign information maps, ensuring new data is available for campaign management and existing sources has desirable quality and reliability
  • Ensuring all processes are compliant to regulatory requirements including PHI Act, Privacy Act, Spam Act, National DNC Register, Fund Policy Community Rating, Privacy Act and Spam Act
  • Having a continuous improvement mindset by guiding stakeholders on best practice design and making recommendations that drive performance and efficiency
  • Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same – you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking one on one with a team member or get to the gym for a lunchtime class.

What about you?

This role would be a perfect match for an experienced Campaign Data Analyst with experience ideally built in the services industry – think finance, energy, telecoms, etc. You will be comfortable working autonomously in the technical detail (writing code to extract data for campaigns and marketing activity), as well as the non technical aspects of work (building solid working relationships and collaborating with others in a cross-functional team environment).

You will also bring:

  • Previous experience of campaign management systems (SAS, UNICA or Pega)
  • Experience working with large customer data warehouses
  • Proven experience in using analytical insights to provide accurate advice to senior stakeholders and influence decision making
  • Understanding of marketing automation tools (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology would be a bonus.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve great results for the business.
