Job Description

Join us at Vonage as a Carrier Operations Data Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Global Carrier Network Operations. Dive deep into the heartbeat of our SMS and Voice Products, analysing data and trends to optimise quality, cost, and client traffic behavior.

As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to craft meaningful action plans based on data insights, driving cross-functional projects forward. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to onboard customers’ traffic seamlessly, optimise costs and quality, and strike the perfect balance between the two.

What you’ll do:

  • Create Impactful Insights: Develop reports, verify data, and build presentations and dashboards focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive future plans and projects.
  • Navigate Complexity: Perform complex analysis including business cases, What If scenarios, and forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Unleash Data Potential: Manipulate and transform data into actionable insights, continuously seeking new data sources to enhance analysis.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Provide data analysis support to stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Sales, and beyond, addressing cross-functional needs.
  • Drive Efficiency: Take on day-to-day operational tasks and champion automation initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Initiate Change: Take ownership of projects and action plans, leveraging available resources and tools to drive meaningful results.

What you bring:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role, with a track record of impactful data analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of MS Office/Google equivalent tools, Tableau or similar BI software, and strong SQL or database manipulation skills.
  • Analytical Acumen: A knack for dissecting complex data sets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Global Mindset: Thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, adaptable to changing priorities and objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
