The CIB Chief Data Office (CDO) is a business-centric organization whose purpose is to unlock value for our stakeholders through timely delivery of high-quality, compliant data. The CIB CDO oversees the overall strategy and execution of the CIB data agenda. 

As a Data Solutions VP, you will partner closely with the Data Risk Pillar Leads to help deliver tooling & automation solutions that support our line-of-business data management requirements and assist with compliance to policy, applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Drive innovation in data governance processes by implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions through tools like UiPath, creating value through automation. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like (Data Science Team, Legal Team, Data Risk Pillars) to identify opportunities for strategic process re-engineering. 
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of high-impact initiatives.
  • Leverage data analytics and digital skills to create new insights and deliver well designed applications that together support business transformation
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for Intelligent solutions deployment, identifying areas where automation can drive the most impact
  • Update the latest trends in data science and AI technologies, implementing best practices across the organization
  • Ensure proper governance and compliance protocols are followed for in the solution implementations
  • Collaborate with Centre of Excellence team to integrate RPA solutions with existing systems and workflows
  • Act as a thought leader and advisor to senior executives on matters of data management and automations
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and the value of automation to non-technical stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with data pillar leads to align RPA and data science initiatives with organization priorities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :

  • Expertise in defining, building out product strategy and roadmap and strong prioritization
  • Minimum 12 years of related experience in Data Science or Automation with at least 3 years in leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle 
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, machine learning and AI technologies
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing RPA solutions across large organizations
  • Experience working in automation tools like UiPath, PEGA, Alteryx
  • Strong knowledge of programming language like C#, Python, R or similar languages, along with experience in big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SQL, databases and webservices (SOAP/REST)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills :

  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and technical (e.g., PowerPoint).  Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to management and key partners
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking 
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus
