Client Operations – Business Data Analyst – Associate
Job Description
The EMEA Client Operations team is an integral part of the International Private Bank, involved in all stages of the client lifecycle, from new client onboarding, ongoing risk reviews and maintenance of existing clients. The team ensures adherence to regulatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements for the International Private Bank. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be managing extensive and complex data sets to produce reports which will inform management decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day reporting commitments for internal stakeholders
- Support the preparation of senior management presentations through the provision of meaningful data
- Develop data-led solutions to workflows and processes
- Data analysis including data collection synthesis and presentation
- Support strategic transformation initiatives through provision of core client data and performance tracking
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or prior financial services and data analysis experience
- Fluency in English is required
- Results-orientated with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills and with ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated team-player
- Experience in data analysis and MI tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Qliksense)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively partner with internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Risk and controls mindset
The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for the provision of accurate reporting for the EMEA Client Operations team. This will include: BAU reporting to track team performance and emerging risks, provision of data-led insights to inform management decisions and supporting strategic transformation initiatives.
The individual will work independently, keeping management informed of progress and any emerging risks. They will be dealing with Private Bank client and KYC data, so experience in financial services will be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills which will enable them to partner effectively with internal stakeholders in cross-functional teams.
