Role Summary & Role Description:

Senior Application development Engineer who will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Back Office/Custody Applications as a member of an agile scrum team. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.

As a Senior Development Lead you will:

  • Assist, from a technical standpoint, in the implementation of a DataModel for Enterprise Data Platform servicing F2B clients.
  • Design& Development of scalable applications involving cloud-based infrastructure(Azure/Snowflake/Databricks/Python/Scala).
  • Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment.
  • Experience as an applications programmer on large-scale data base management systems.
  • Strong Programming knowledge in writing SQL Queries/Stored Procedures, Cursors, Functions, Tasks etc. in Snowflake Environment or any another Relational Databases(Oracle/SQL Sever).
  • Experience with Microservices – API/Event Driven Architecture/Development
  • Release Engineering automation for code distribution to different client regions/instances.
  • Exposure to working in Financial services; front- or middle-office, or fund management business areas ideal.
  • Experience dealing with users or clients from either a technical or business area. Desire to work in Client facing environment.
  • Production support COB/SOB processing of accounting data, regulatory, client statement, and new client feed generation.
  • Install, configure and test software; problem investigation; database configuration, tracing and performance analysis.
  • Address data issues , environment issues ,performing impact analysis , root cause analysis , corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of application programming language for large-scale data base management systems
  • Candidate should possess a strong knowledge in requirements gathering, development, testing and support cycles of database SDLC areas and its underlying data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with databases such as Snowflake/Oracle is Mandatory .
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS is Mandatory.
  • Must have experience in Python Scripting.
  • Experience in Apache Spark Streaming using Scala or PySpark related contents will be strongly considered.
  • Knowledge in Azure Databricks will be an added Advantage.
  • Should have Hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes,  GIT, CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience in Agile Practices

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
