As a Pricing Direct Analyst/Associate within our team, you will generate daily valuations for fixed income securities and derivatives, impacting our clients’ investment strategies. You will work closely with trading desks, market participants, and research teams to enhance market understanding and address client concerns with first-class service. This role provides opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate daily valuations for fixed income securities and derivatives.
  • Collect and analyze market data for price generation and quality control.
  • Collaborate with trading desks and research teams to enhance market knowledge.
  • Conduct independent research to explore new product growth areas.
  • Address client queries and concerns with a focus on service quality.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on securities and explain findings to clients.
  • Continuously improve product and service quality through market surveillance.
  • Develop cutting-edge methodologies to increase valuation accuracy.
  • Attend industry conferences to stay informed on market trends.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering, Physics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance, with a focus on fixed income and derivatives.
  • Firm understanding of finance principles, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Experience with databases, Python, Excel VBA, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of market information and incorporate findings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to process and quality control.
  • Excellent client communication skills and a strong team player.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Experience in programming/scripting languages such as Perl or R.
  • Significant progress towards CFA designation.
