Job Description

It’s all about people

We put people at the centre of everything we do. Being curious about what the people around us need and want is key to creating safe, personalised and sustainable mobility solutions. If you believe in the power of people and share our respect for human-centric innovation, you’ll thrive at Volvo Cars. We are people who care about other people. With us, you’ll be surrounded by brilliant, curious colleagues all committed to making a difference.

Consultant Management team – let’s introduce ourselves
The Consultant Management team is Volvo Cars’ experts in the management and recruitment of consultants. The team is in the middle of a transformation journey – we are broadening our scope and strengthening our way of working to fit the future needs of our company.

We are a team of five individuals working at Volvo Cars’ HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden as our base. Our focus has up until now been on consultant processes in Sweden, but in the upcoming year, we will start supporting business functions in other countries as well.

We are partners to hiring managers throughout the consultant recruitment process and provide our company with the right external competence at the right time. The team is part of the Talent Acquisition department at central People Experience (HR) in Sweden. We collaborate with many different stakeholders such as Procurement, Digital (IT), Recruitment, business unit management teams, People Experience business partners, managers and external suppliers.

What you’ll do
As our Consultant Data Analytics Specialist, you will be leading our work with consultant data, reports and analytics. You will help Volvo Cars make decisions based on data and information about our contingent workforce and convert the data into actionable insights.
You will support – and challenge – our consultant purchasing functions by setting consultant strategies and workforce planning to ensure that we have the right type of resource mix, at the right price, at the right time.

You will also lead our work with legal compliance in the consultant management field. A special focus will be placed on ensuring that Volvo Cars comply with the Swedish Agency Work Act, steering how our company time track and manage contingent workers. Similar to the other tasks if this role, the compliance responsibility is focused on managing and tracking information about our consultants in our master data system.

Apart from collaborating with your colleagues in the team, you will work closely with our different business units and local management teams, People Experience (HR) representatives and Procurement.
As a part of the Consultant Management team, you are expected to take an active role in driving our transformation and to be an ambassador for us. Apart from driving the work with law compliance and analytics in the consultant field, you are expected to contribute to our daily operations in SAP Fieldglass and to show an interest in developing our ways of working.

Your main responsibilities:

•    Act as the front figure for consultant data, use data analysis to optimize consultant processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency
•    Develop Volvo Cars’ understanding of the consultant area using data, for example by creating presenting reports based on information from SuccessFactors, Power BI and SAP Fieldglass
•    Set and track metrics and KPIs for the consultant management area
•    Support with mass migrations and consultant data quality assurance in our master data system
•    Manage operations connected to, and ensure compliance with, current legal requirements and updates in the Swedish Agency Work Act (Uthyrningslagen): Support and guide our business functions and line managers in how to comply with the law and provide data for related business decisions

In addition, you are expected to contribute to our team deliveries:

•    Secure customer and stakeholder satisfaction – ensure that you meet the needs of Volvo Cars’ managers and hiring functions
•    Maintain and develop our service and identify continuous improvement initiatives
•    Managing and overseeing consultant staffing processes and strategies
•    Arrange training for managers to introduce them to consultant management and our processes

What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role you have a good understanding of the consultant industry and data analytics.
You have experience working with analytics and enjoy creating and presenting reports. You are comfortable with having senior management exposure and think it is fun to challenge others to drive change.

You are analytical, and results-oriented and apply data-driven decision-making in your daily work. You have a strong business acumen and a process-oriented way of working. You enjoy acting as an ambassador for Volvo Cars and the Consultant Management team and feel passionate about this area of work.

You also have:
•    Experience in the consultant industry in Sweden, ideally with knowledge of the IT and software area
•    Excellent communication skills, fluent in Swedish and English
•    Comfortable working with digital tools such as Microsoft Teams and Excel. Experience from working in Success Factors, Power BI and SAP Fieldglass is beneficial.
•    Tech savvy, a quick learner and curious about our systems and their functionalities
•    Basic understanding of the Swedish Agency Work Act and its impact on the consultant field

Who you are?
We are looking for you who get energized by being in a changing environment using your analytical skills together with the relevant data to drive results. You have a strong business acumen and a process-oriented way of working. Have great interpersonal skills and like to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders from different areas. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and like to be an advisor to management teams in our business functions.
