Job Summary:

As a Backend Developer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side aspects of our platform. Your coding expertise in JavaScript & Python, as well as your knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), will be essential for this role. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data accuracy, security, and scalability.
• Create and manage data pipelines and ETL processes
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript and Python for data-related components
• Participate in DevOps practices, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for data infrastructure, and contribute to automation and system monitoring
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-related systems are aligned with the overall platform architecture and requirements
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to data management and system performance
• Maintain technical documentation for data-related systems and processes

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on data management
• Proven experience in JavaScript or Python
• Knowledge of ML / AI and MLOps practices, a plus

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is advantageous 
• Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies (e.g. data storage systems, cloud platforms) is a plus 
• Knowledge of ML / AI and MLOps practices, a plus 
• Familiarity of distributed compute a plus (messaging, Spark, Ray, etc)

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
