Job Description & Summary

A career within Tax Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to work directly with senior Information Technology professionals within PwC, as well as with our clients, in order to provide specialised assistance to troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding the technical application aspects of our tax technology solutions.

Our team is responsible for acting as the direct liaison with information technology professionals at PwC and our clients by providing specialised assistance to troubleshoot and resolve issues with our tax technology solutions. You’ll focus on utilising proprietary web applications and managing technology support.

Preferred skills

  • Our data analysts are integral to our recent growth and success within our data management division. You will be supporting our engagement teams with a variety of data analysis tasks with the objective of discovering and leveraging useful information that can be used to support evidence-based decision making. Key activities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Defining data requirements to support business issues / queries.
  • Defining the process for how data will be captured and managed.
  • Collecting and interpreting data.
  • Analyzing results.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in datasets.
  • Visualizing the data to convey complex data sets into meaningful management information.
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
  • Designing and implementing data models across the different initiatives in the team.
  • Resolving issues regarding data quality, cleansing, integration and migration
  • Working as part of a data specialist team to deliver quality service to engagement client
  • Communicating with key stakeholders to define data requirements to support business issues / queries, including collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and translating the result to non-technical stakeholders
     
  • Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge and/or certifications demonstrating capability working with data models and reporting packages (ideally Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficient in various analytics tools/languages is a must, such as Python, SQL /Google Analytics.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL (DBMS, MS SQL / azure preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience in using Excel or equivalent Ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to design and develop comprehensive reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
  • Demonstrable experience of success within a range of complex project environments and sectors.
  • Minimum years experience required

  • Qualification – Graduate/Postgraduate

    Experience For Senior Associate & AM – 4-9 years

    Experience For Manager – 8-11 years. People management / team leading experience would be an added advantage
