Job Description
Job summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Data Analyst with 1-3 years of experience in data analytics to join our team. As a Data Analyst at Syngenta , you will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value . Churn complex dataset and derive clear information that can be used to make strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Python, and experience with business intelligence(BI) tools such as PowerBI or Qlik. A solid understanding of database management systems, particularly SQL, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and clean data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Qlik Sense
- Use Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders using clear and engaging language.
- Design and build data visualization dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Qlik or any other visualization tool to present complex information in an understandable and visually appealing manner.
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and visualization tools.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data analytics strategies to improve business processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python and other tools for data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Qlik. Knowledge of other visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, with a focus on SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
