About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Applied Analytics and through the Manager to the Director, Analytics, the Data Analyst provides subject matter expertise of the analytical activities related to Frailty & Elder Care, including how a Frailty Index (FI) and a Frailty Index based on laboratory tests (FI-lab) could be used to improve patient outcomes. The individual will integrate information from various systems to support data-driven decisions, in collaboration with other Analytics team members.

 

The Data Analyst independently addresses issues and designs decisions of moderate complexity with little or no supervision and delivers clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to clinical and corporate analytical problems and solutions across the organization.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree in a quantitative field, informatics, mathematics / statistics, financial or business required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytics-related field required.  Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
  • Data extraction using SQL
  • Data manipulation, analysis and modelling using R and/or Python
  • Visualization of results using Tableau Desktop and automation with Tableau Prep Builder
  • Implementation of pipelines using cloud technologies such as Azure
  • Microsoft Office, esp. Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred, familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into a language adequate for the intended audience
  • Strong interpersonal skill
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

x2 Long assignment, full-time positions, 75 hrs bi-weekly
Beginning as soon as possible with an expected end date of April 2026 (Approximately 24 months)

Compensation and Incentives

$36.51 – $45.64 Hourly
