Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at The Pharmacy Group, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex healthcare data to support strategic business initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive operational efficiencies, improve patient care, and support our business goals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging data to solve problems and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Analyze healthcare and pharmacy-related data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in patient services and business operations.

  • Data Visualization:
    Create clear, concise, and impactful dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to pharmacy operations, patient outcomes, and financial performance, providing regular updates to leadership.

  • Data Quality & Integrity:
    Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by conducting thorough validation, cleaning, and cross-referencing of datasets.

  • Collaborative Support:
    Work closely with the pharmacy operations, clinical, and finance teams to understand data requirements and provide insights that support business decisions.

  • Predictive Modeling & Forecasting:
    Utilize statistical techniques and models to forecast trends, predict patient needs, and support resource planning.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize analytical findings, trends, and recommendations.

What You Bring

  • Strong Analytical Skills:
    Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Technical Proficiency:
    Experience with data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R, and familiarity with visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.

  • Attention to Detail:
    Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data analysis and reporting.

  • Healthcare Knowledge:
    Understanding of healthcare or pharmacy industry data is a plus, along with the ability to navigate medical terminologies and regulatory requirements.

  • Problem-Solving Capability:
    Proactive approach to identifying challenges and providing practical solutions backed by data.

  • Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role.
  • Experience working with healthcare data and knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with data management systems and CRM platforms.
