About the Role
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to transform our data into actionable insights. In this role, you will leverage statistical analysis to uncover deeper trends and patterns in our data, enabling stakeholders throughout the company to make well-informed decisions. You’ll collaborate with teams from various departments to understand their needs and deliver impactful insights in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about data exploration, skilled at asking the right questions, and excels at providing timely, accurate, and meaningful analyses that drive impactful results.
What you will be doing:
- Perform thorough data analysis to uncover insights that support various aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, customer success, and operations
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that help drive strategic decisions and improve business performance
- Create and maintain high-quality reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders, ensuring they have the data they need to make informed decisions
- Work closely with teams across the organization to gain exposure to different business areas
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the data by identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during analysis
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner, both in written reports and presentations
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to better understand their data needs
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or quantitative field, or 1 year experience as a Data Analyst
- Strong experience with at least one of the following: Databricks, Python, Looker
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with SalesForce or another CRM or service desk system
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, quick learner, detail-oriented and well-organized
- Independent problem solving skills with a strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting mindset
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently, while staying organized, in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail and the capacity to process high volumes of information accurately and quickly
- Proactive in reviewing current procedures and confident in suggesting improvements
- Flexible and adaptable,willing to adjust as needed
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and strategically working through them with urgency
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with more than 2 querying languages
- Data modeling expertise
- Extensive experience with Looker, Databricks, or AWS
- Knowledge of time series forecasting
- Exposure to ML analysis
Location: Boulder, Colorado – Candidates must currently live in, or are willing to relocate to the Boulder/Denver area. Sovrn’s hybrid schedule includes onsite in our Boulder office. #LI-Hybrid

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000 annually. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package includes equity and benefits. Actual earnings may vary depending on the candidate’s direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
