Your Role
As a Data Analyst, you become a true expert of your domain and how we can leverage data to supercharge our decision-making. To get there, you apply state-of-the-art analytical methods and deliver on projects ranging from explorative research towards building robust infrastructure and optimisation models. Being a data evangelist, you are a key driver of advancing a data-mindset across FINN.
Your Role

Being a data evangelist, you are a key driver of advancing a data-mindset across FINN.
Your Paths
- Operations: The Operations department at FINN manages the logistics and customer service aspects of the car-related process, including in-fleeting, delivery, return, and de-fleeting, as well as incident management and customer interactions. You will work to optimize and maintain efficient and sustainable operations through data analysis and support for the operations management team.
- Fleet: The Fleet department is responsible for vehicle acquisition, pricing, utilization and remarketing. You are in charge of both enhancing the transformation models, as well as developing advanced analytical optimisation models.
- Finance: The Finance department is responsible for raising & operating efficient financing of our business as well as building the backbone to enable financial steering of FINN. As a Data Analyst, you work on advancing these capabilities, building a deep understanding of financial risks we need to manage and opportunities we can tap into. This includes default prediction and forecasting for our asset base as well as processing financial data to facilitate data-driven decision making. You are closely involved in high-stake processes such as fundraising or steering formats for senior management.

Your Responsibilities
- Become a domain expert: You become an expert on the processes within your domain and how the data that is created can be leveraged to improve (e.g. for better pricing, logistics, cash collection, …).
- Explore & take action: You explore the data of your domain to identify risk & opportunities and make recommendations to be executed jointly with your team.
- Build cutting-edge data products: Using our state-of-the-art data stack, you develop end-to-end dataproducts solving a domain specific problem set. To do so, you own the full pipeline from building the infrastructure towards visualizations or optimization models.
- Supercharge decision-making: You support your department & our management to solve diverse problems on a daily basis. Doing so, you enable the team to become literate themselves in using our data stack and answer their questions without your help.
- Be a data evangelist: You always advocate for a data-driven approach and challenge people across the organization to rethink convictions and ideological decision-making.
Your Profile
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 1+ years of professional experience or relevant internship experience.
- Data-driven decision-maker with excellent communication skills and business acumen.
- Advanced SQL, Python or R skills. Experience working with dbt is a plus.
- Experience with Looker, Tableau (or other BI tools).
- Fluent in English.
