In this role, you will ensure the successful execution and achievement of objectives by convening key stakeholders and leading the implementation, adoption and continuity of Cascades’ business tools and programs, primarily via Power BI tools. You will provide first-class strategic information and tools to support rapid and effective decision-making. Evolving in a highly flexible and dynamic environment, your role will mainly consist of participating in building the foundations of Cascades carton-caisse’s sales & finance tools infrastructure in collaboration with the Customer Experience (CX) and Finance teams.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Drive and encourage users to fully utilize Power BI as their primary tool for analysis;
  • Develop dashboards and provide recommendations and key information to senior management and directors in order to meet Cascades’ strategic and tactical objectives;
  • Support and train users in tool updates and improvements;
  • Guide activities related to improvement opportunities and ensure effective use of dashboards;
  • Work with internal partners to develop a sustainable training program for the sales team;
  • Support the end-to-end process and improvement of sales & finance tools in collaboration with IT, CX and Finance teams;
  • Participate in the new product launch process for your business unit (participate in weekly calls, communicate and train end-users);
  • Test and provide feedback on future versions of the application;
  • Work closely with project teams to implement, pilot and monitor usage to achieve objectives and key performance indicators.

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience developing management reports on Power BI while maintaining a business partnership with operations and finance;
  • Undergraduate degree required;
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft suite (advanced/expert level on Excel and Power BI);
  • Knowledge of Google BigQuery and SQL is an asset;
  • Ability to clearly define and explain conceptual solutions;
  • Strong ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and results orientation;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong communication/presentation skills;
  • Fluency in both French and English, to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
