Overview
Document ingestion is a top priority for Chubb and we are looking for an innovative, results-oriented Data Analysts with requisite experience and ambition to help drive the Ingestion program. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and business focused Data Analyst to join our Document AI and Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and certify data
- Troubleshoot data issues
- Promote data quality
- Work directly with the business and developers to document requirements and technical specifications and lead the delivery of key projects in support Domain and Platform delivery for ingestion.
- Translating business requirements to achievable epics and user stories for technology teams.
- Be the key liaison between the product owner and technology teams.
- Lead reporting initiatives, delivering solutions from inception to reporting submission while working within budget and timelines
- Share your ideas and manage data related projects end to end that influence how we incorporate, validate, and distribute data enterprise-wide.
Qualifications
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science) or business, data, engineering, mathematics or information management
- 3+ Years as a Business or Data Analyst in insurance or BFSI domain
- Proven experience in SQL and knowledge of relational databases.
- Python experience will be considered as a plus for this role.
- Proven experience as a business or data analyst in an operational environment.
- Have an awareness of suitable KPIs associated with large scale projects .
- A sound analytical mind and able to clearly structure and effectively communicate high level and detailed business requirements;
- Strong business process modelling skills.
- Experience of mapping out ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ landscape and undertaking gap analysis;
- Experience in business change, rationalization and transformation; Ability to work independently, proactively and with versatility in responding to changing circumstances;
- An eye for detail, excellent communication skills and be able to interrogate reported information and challenge sources where inconsistencies are found.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven experience of process mapping and analysis
- Contribute to the design of the on-going solutions and user support required after transition.
- Insurance or financial services domain knowledge
- Ability to work with multiple teams globally.
- Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
