About This Role
You will be part of the GBS US Specialty Customer Data & Insights team which is supporting USO processes and projects with a special focus on enhancing and improving the USO analytical capabilities and the automation of processes that will help the USO team to enhance and improve their insight generation. The overall mission is to create integrated strategic insights and robust analytical tools that can easily measure business performance. Within these insight disciplines drive and build functional excellence using strategic thinking and advanced business analytics capabilities. Provides regular insight-generating recommendations for the USO leadership team and key business functions and gives support on key forecast processes.
Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
What You’ll Do
Patient and Market reporting across the US Market and its geographies
- Creates reports & dashboards for Nation and Divisional US CD&I Specialty and leadership teams based on market dynamic evolution and trends
- Under supervision executes the US CMI CE&O teams/mngrs Specialty Market volume from external sources
- Analyses US country data to find possible data gaps and correct accounting of units, maintains the Brand/product/KPI template mapping tables
- Provide analytical brand performance support including the aggregation of data from a variety of disparate sources and systems into databases and models for data-driven decision-making
- With appropriate guidance takes corrective actions to ensure high data quality in the volume-to-unit calculations. Looking for continuous automation of the process to ensure the lowest level of error in logic and data processes
Analytical Tools Enhancement / Process Improvement
- Applies analytical expertise to support decision-making, conducting critical analyses by integrating multiple data sources to provide an objective viewpoint and recommendations
- Leverages standardized analytical tools to communicate key information, insights, and recommendations. Continuous improvement of those tools to increase efficiency and a faster and higher quality analysis
- Work with partners within Biogen (both GBS and Non-GBS) and externally to identify, prioritize, facilitate, and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and advanced analytical models for business insights
- Make continuous improvement recommendations related to the CD&I and facilitate their approval and execution
- Foster a culture geared towards continuous improvement amongst CD&I team
- Analyses all relevant data and information
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Min. 1-3 years relevant experience within a large multi-national company or consulting firm with a special focus on analyzing big data sets and converting them into actionable insights
- Proficient level of Excel and knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools (Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to mine multiple data sets from disparate data sources and identify performance trends and patterns
- Good understanding of analytical models and ability to identify trends, gaps and opportunities, as well as diagnose overall business performance at a National and geographic, ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure PowerPoint and PowerBI deliverables
- Solid understanding of commercial datasets of large companies. Able to synthesize large amount of unstructured and complex data into simple and more structured data sets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill set.
- Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Previous experience in Pharma industry is an advantage but not required
