Location: Flexible remote working with some requirement to attend our offices in Shepherd’s Bush, London

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented, smart and enthusiastic data analyst intern to join our experienced data team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing large sets of customer data to help support migration strategies
  • Running CSV-templated imports into the ToucanTech software
  • Employing various automated and/or manual techniques for cleaning and manipulating data using Excel and SQL
  • Understanding client data needs (including some occasional client liaison)
  • Preparing accurate and in-depth data-mapping documents

You’ll be part of a data team of nine people (including four other analysts). ToucanTech also has staff working in product, sales, marketing, operations and customer support & training.

This is a 6 month paid internship that we are hoping will be converted to a full-time graduate role (based on your performance/ learning and skills). Our office is based in West London, but you will also be free to work from home some of the week at your convenience once you have settled in.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or other spreadsheet software)
  • A basic level of SQL
  • Critical thinking and an eye for detail
  • Ideally from a scientific/mathematical educational background.

Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to sponsor foreign working visas, so you will need to have the right to work in the UK.
