We’re looking for a dynamic Data Analyst Intern to support our PayNearMe team for Summer 2024. This position will report to the Sr. Director – Engineering (Data).

Job Description

What you’ll own and be responsible for: 

  • Data Analysis using Python Notebooks
  • Looker & DBT work including clearing Tech Debt
  • Documentation & Process updates

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational databases; experience with Looker preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python, particularly in data analysis and using Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Experience with data modeling, extraction, and reporting through academic projects or previous internships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team project collaboration skills.
  • Able to commit to a full-time role during summer and part-time during the academic year.

Additional Information

Location: Flexible/Remote (within the US)

Hourly rate: $20-30 / hr DOE
