About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst (m/f/d) with a focus on pricing to join one of our portfolio companies in the e-commerce space to play a crucial role in maximising their profitability and market competitiveness.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on analysing pricing data, market trends, and customer behavior to determine the most effective pricing strategies for the company’s products and services.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Optimise and automate country- and product-specific price adjustment processes
  • Implement price calculations that come from a variety of data sources
  • Conceptualise, implement and interpret meaningful KPIs, automated reports, and ad-hoc analyses in the pricing domain
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote data-driven decisions
  • Continuously monitor price positioning in a dynamic market environment
  • Communicate analysis results and recommendations and prepare reports for our portfolio company’s management team

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in business intelligence and/or analytics
  • Very good analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, and proficient use of MS Excel
  • Good query knowledge and experience with SQL on a relational database, preferably with MS SQL Server
  • Solid experience in building reports and dashboards with BI tools, preferably PowerBI
  • A goal-oriented, independent, and reliable way of working, as well as the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights
  • Completed university degree with a quantitative focus in economics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science
  • Business proficiency in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Bavarian office of our partner company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
