Data Analytics Application Engineer

This resource is primarily intended to Conceptualize, Develop, Implement and Maintain IT Applications and Software to Modernize the Launch Processes in Regional and Global NMP level.

Core Responsibilities:

Develop & Maintain Launch Applications: 
•   Design , develop and maintain user-friendly applications / dashboards and software solutions.
•   Collaborate with NMP Launch teams and Cross-Functional teams to gather user needs. 
•   Write efficient , reusable , scalable codes in various programming languages. 
•   Create intuitive user interfaces and implement responsive design principles. 
•   Debug , test and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance. 
•   Stay updated on Industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance software development practices. 
•   Provide technical support and assistance to end users when necessary 
•   Document Code, Processes and Procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop Launch Timing
•   Develop Launch Timing based on GPDS Standard Timing and meet Cycle Plan guidelines
•   Identify and resolve all Launch Timing issues with appropriate cross-functional team(s) (PD, Mfg, Plant, etc).

Develop Launch Budgets   
•   Create launch cost estimates for pre-PS cycle plan/vignette studies through PA
•   Attend Cost Study Kick-off meetings
•   Complete cost study response

Global / Regional Liaison:
•   Responsible for voicing regional views in Global LQOS Change forums
•   Provide regional inputs into Global BPR Process
•   Liaison for OSM & Stop Ship Lessons Learned process feedback between Global NMP lead and Regional NMP Managers
•   Drive continuous improvement of process & efficiency ideas within IMG teams. 
•   Liaison with Global NMP teams to discuss & implement Improvement ideas from IMG region. 
 

Mandatory Software Skills / Requirements:
•   Microsoft office 
•   Power Apps / Power BI & Power Automate 
•   Excel VBA 
•   Python 
•   Qlik Sense 
•   Knowledge of Cloud platforms – Azure 
•   Share-point 
•   Web development frameworks and technologies. 
•   Altreyx

Key Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
•   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field 
•   2 to 5 Years of experience in related field.
•   Proven experience in software development with a focus on applications and dashboards. Certificates of training and Proof of execution of projects in previous organization required. 
•   Proficiency in above mentioned software and programming languages. 
•   Excellent problem solving and analytical skill. 
•   Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. 
•   A good understanding of security best practices in software development. 
•   Ability to be detail oriented and highly organized.
•   Project Management experience is highly preferred.
