Job Description

As a Machine Learning/Data Analytics engineer in the Flash Analytics group, you will be responsible for analyzing and presenting data, using machine learning techniques, related to solid-state drive validation/characterization
Candidate will utilize technical expertise to parse, statistically analyze and present data that will assist with better decision making and efficiency improvement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following – 

  1. Use machine learning techniques to analyze current data and start predicting future results
  2. Design and implement data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence algorithms
  3. Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
  4. Writing scripts to parse, format and analyze data
  5. Performing statistical analysis to interpret the data
  6. Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  7. Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  8. Working with engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications and validation strategies

Qualifications

Qualifications

  1. BS or MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field and graduating between December 2022-June 2023
  2. Experience in coding in C/C++ or Perl or Python or R and using statistical analysis tools like JMP or TIBCO Spotfire
  3. Candidate should possess some of the following attributes: solid background in statistics, understanding of solid-state drives, background in solid-state drive characterization 
  4. Handled large datasets programmatically
  5.  Excellent teamwork and good verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  7. Sound analytical techniques and ability to solve problems systematically
