What You Will Do:

Utilize analytics to support Gartner Digital Market’s mission to be the leading resource for software buyers and sellers.

Lead the initiatives with a team of data analysts to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that drive product-let growth and enhance the user experience of our vendor-facing products.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs, and success criteria for our products.

Design and implement data collection and tracking mechanisms to gather relevant data and ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, insights and opportunities for optimization and improvement in our vendor-facing products.

Manage the backlog of requests and prioritize the projects according to the global priorities.

Manage and/or mentor analysts and help them with their analyses and report creation.

Ensure the right automation and alerting systems are in place to monitor data quality and performance.
What You Will Need:
-
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a quantitative concentration (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or economics). An advanced degree is a plus.

5-7 years of experience involving analysis of large volumes of data with strong hands-on experience with analytical tools. Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms is a plus.

5+ years of experience using SQL, Python and Advanced Excel. Experience in Snowflake and PowerBI (preferred)

A proven take record of being in people influencing & mentorship roles will be preferred

Proficient with the Google suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft suite of business applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience working with web analytics tools like Google Analytics is a plus.

Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, identify and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data.

Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story to influence senior-level stakeholders.

Strong verbal and written communication with a track record of working independently
