Data & Analytics Specialist (Front-End) – SAP Analytics Cloud focus

As a Data & Analytics Specialist you will be responsible for the stakeholder management, requirement gathering, development and implementation of different analytics initiatives in collaboration with other stakeholders and team members within the same business line. 

The Opportunity

  • Implement analytics and data visualizations in SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Looker Studio, or equivalent.

  • Prepare data for visualization in gSheets, SQL, Python, or similar, either locally or in an AWS/GCP cloud environment.

  • Lead requirement gathering and translate user requirements into technical specifications.

  • Partner with colleagues and stakeholders globally on initiatives and projects across different regions and time zones.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with other departments to identify synergies and streamline redundancies.

  • Participate in the deployment of analytics projects to meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, and performance.

  • Create and manage documentation for data science and data engineering projects.

  • Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team with Data Scientists, Automation experts, and business experts to deliver solutions.

Who you are

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters is a plus) ideally in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance/ Economics or equivalent experience in the area of data & analytics and 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes (Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT)

  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, end-to-end thinking mindset and behavior

  • Familiar and comfortable with agile ways of working and adaptable to changing environments, Strategic and holistic mindset with the ability to manage topics in agile / matrix organizations

  • Have strong communication, strong customer centric, networking skills, someone who enjoys working with others and acts as a team player and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to propose different solutions for the customers’ need

  • Tools & systems proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Looker Studio, or equivalent
