About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Data Governance team for a Data and Analytics Delivery lead. The Data and Analytics Delivery Lead is responsible for the ensuring the successful prioritisation and delivery of data and analytical initiatives across the organisation. The role requires working closely with key business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs ensuring that initiatives align with strategic objectives, timelines and that delivery of solutions meet business requirements. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Lead and manage the delivery of initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain initiative scope, solution design, plans, and delivery schedule.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quantify and communicate benefits, status, risks, and issues effectively.
  • Own and manage the integrated enterprise data and analytics roadmap.
  • Development of a demand management, prioritisation, and delivery framework.
  • Establish and operate demand and prioritisation forum with key stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to measure success and performance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
  • Ensure business readiness for change facilitating seamless transition to BAU.

 

Requirements

 About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • 7+ years of experience delivering cross-functional initiatives in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Strong demand and delivery management skills with demonstrable experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Certification is an advantage (e.g. PMP, SAFe)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, superior communication (verbal and written) with the ability to lead meetings, hold workshops with senior management, communicate complex ideas effectively, advocate solutions and results to technology and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated competence and understanding of data and analytics themes such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Reporting, Data Insights
  • Knowledge and worked experience with data regulations such as GDPR and BCBS239 is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and organisational priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
