Description

The Enterprise Architect role is the definition of our most senior technical and business advisor. This individual embodies executive level qualities, leads the conversation and directs the execution of the engineering teams by combining both technical vision and business insight. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for ensuring all business applications are built and deployed in a scalable, sustainable and reliable manner, ensuring interoperability and functionality that meets the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted advisory x-functional relationships and make recommendations on data strategies, data architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
  • Recommend and document migration paths/strategies, and architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices. Drive the capturing, developing, and sharing of best practices internally and externally to scale expertise to accelerate implementation.
  • Engage at senior technical stakeholder level with our business units providing a single technical point of technical contact for the business unit/s into the data delivery team.
  • Provide deep, technical architecture and enterprise-wide subject matter expertise.
  • Lead the technical relationship with our vendors, empowering them to drive a successful pilot or proof of concept. Influence vendors in driving toward business unit acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to a commercial agreement. Work directly with vendors during the migration phase to ensure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment or in a large scale, complex customer-facing role.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • 7 years experience in collaborating with and managing SaaS vendors during large scale deployments.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with migrating Cloud-Native datasets at scale, from strategy/conception through full operational deployment.
  • Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the business systems industry such as SFDC, Workday, Workspace, JIRA, Slack, etc.
  • Ability to speak publicly and deliver technical presentations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000 – $276,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
