The role

This Senior Cloud professional need to support EDP by involving in installation/upgrade/Maintenance of Pentaho Data Catalog, MDM software which are critical for the organization. As a part of Data security in Datalake, He/She need to support regular user requests related to Denodo by seeking necessary approvals from Data and VDB owners. Need to regularly monitor AWS services like EC2, Lambda, Redshift, RDS etc., and perform patching activities, version upgrades etc. to fix the security vulnerabilities & compatibility issues. Candidate need to build/enhance data quality framework which supports organization initiatives like Gen AI etc. This person will be responsible in onboarding data into EDP from external sources via SFTP process. Will be working closely with Infosec team & external auditors whenever needed. Need to work with Network & Security, Cloud & DataCenter teams during outages/Downtimes.

What you’ll bring

Required Technical and Professional Expertise: –
• Must have 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
• Strong experience in maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and container orchestration tools.
• Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture.
• Knowledge on any one of – Python, Shell or Powershell.
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Deep working knowledge on Linux/windows servers and networking.
• Experience with monitoring/logging solutions.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Experience with modern cloud development practices (microservices architectures, REST interfaces, etc. ).
• Always ready to learn more and adopt new cutting edge technology with the right value proposition.
• Being a fast learner, Adaptable to changing landscape and most importantly a strong believer in being hands-on.
• Experience in CI/CD Pipeline development

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise: –
• Technology Set: Linux, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, EC2, Airflow, Oracle, Docker.
• Concepts Required: – Networking, Database, Data Warehouse
