Your opportunity:
We are looking for a talented and driven Data Architecture and Data Governance Manager to join our team in Boliden. In this dual role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the quality, security, and compliance of our data assets, while shaping and leading the development of data strategies and governance frameworks. Who you will work with:
You will collaborate with a dynamic team of Data professionals and stakeholders who share your passion for data. You will also engage with clients to understand their business needs, ensuring that the data solutions we deliver are aligned with their strategic objectives. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that values teamwork, innovation and autonomy.
 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement complex enterprise data solutions.
  • Support the strategy, planning, and implementation of data design services.
  • Engage with clients to understand their data roadmaps and business needs.
  • Oversee and develop data architecture, including data acquisition, integration, modeling, and quality processes.
  • Evaluate and select tools to ensure optimal data management.
  • Develop and maintain schematics for our data lake and data warehouse.
  • Establish a curated list of data patterns.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Enforce data quality standards and processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct data governance assessments and audits, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and deliver data governance and literacy programs across the organization.
     

What you bring (competence):

  • Proven experience in data governance, architecture, data modeling, and AI governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and Purview.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools, methodologies, and architecture principles.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL, ELT, data ingestion/cleansing, and engineering processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate behaviors in line with Boliden’s core values: Care, Responsibility, Courage. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in data governance and management.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in business English (Swedish skills are a bonus).
