Job Description
What’s it all about?
This role will be responsible for driving and executing the VXBS (Visa-Cross-Border-Solutions) / CurrencyCloud Insights and Analytics roadmap, which aims to deliver value through actionable , informed insights and accessible and supported analytics . This will be accomplished through collaborating with Business leaders, Technology and Product teams to understand strategic objectives, measurements, reporting and analytics needs.
This role is well suited to an analyst with solid experience in product management, Business intelligence and big data platforms, looking to learn more about cross border money movement and interested in delivering value and driving growth.
What we expect of you, day to day:

Contribute to metrics, KPIs, segments by establishing an understanding on strategic objectives, product features and business needs

Drive reporting requirements, user stories, backlog grooming and contribute to deliver optimal reporting / BI solutions to internal users and external clients (merchant, issuers, partners)

Identify and drive opportunities to further develop performance measures to drive improved business performance

Build SME knowledge on data sets, data platforms and tools across VXBS and the wider money movement at Visa

Apply and conform to existing data standards and quality criteria to monitor and ensure system reporting quality

Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, project meetings, and internal client meetings to drive delivery and solutions

Participate in VXBS Insights meets to drive growth , training and collaboration across teams

Effectively communicate, written and oral presentation, of insights to multiple levels of management across business units and functional areas

Top-notch stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence colleagues in small, cross-functional scrum teams.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
What we’re after…
• Demonstrated proficiency in large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL or Python and reporting tools (Tableau preferred)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, latest BI trends and product analytics.
• Experience in Marketing / Risk / Sales / Product analytics performing basic statistical and predictive modeling (nice to have)
• Financial services/payments industry experience a strong plus
• Strong visualization skills & experience with Dashboards and Reporting tools.
• Strong desire and aptitude to be very hands-on with data and analytics
• Ability to critically and methodically think through issues, tasks and problems and develop workable solutions is a must
• Ability to function autonomously, exercise sound decision-making skills, and serve as an advocate for Visa’s business goals and objectives
• Strong listening, oral and written communication skills
