Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with experience in Master Data Management (MDM) technology to join our Global Data Engineering Organization. As a Data Engineer, the individual will be responsible for the design, development, and enrichment of our MDM solutions, ensuring accurate and reliable master data across the enterprise.

The Ideal candidate should be results-oriented and has an ambition to contribute to the success of Master Data program. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and will be able to independently contribute to our MDM strategic initiative. Must have hand-on-experience with master data, ETL/ELT technologies, Azure platform & SQL. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Design & support the MDM data architecture for large-scale data project. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design master data solution. Implement data models, define data integration workflows, and configure MDM tools to meet business needs.
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation to ensure consistency and standardization across data platforms related to MDM solution. 
  • Develop data integration pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the MDM system. 
  • Leverage SaaS MDM platform & adhere to design principles to enhance MDM capabilities and efficiency.
  • Implement data stewardship processes and workflows to maintain data integrity and enforce data management policies. 
  • Perform core MDM functionalities such as Match/Merge, Survivorship, Hierarchy Management and External Match
  • Contribute to Data Modelling & Data Management activities.
  • Work in an Agile development environment and utilize DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins, Jira, Terraform, Ansible etc.) processes.
  • Must love coding – prepare to spend more than 80% of the time on hands-on development with available data technologies. 
  • Work closely with business users, data stewards, and IT teams to identify and resolve Master data-related issues. 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics or related educational background. 
  • At least 2+ years of data engineering experience including data management and data integration (ETL/ELT). 
  • Strong knowledge of MDM technology, SQL and advanced programming languages such as Python/Java
  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools, SQL and Azure platform.
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud services & Data Migration
  • Experience with Informatica suite of product such as IDMC, CDQ, CDI & MDM is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product delivery 
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Mapping, & Data Quality optimization
  • Experience with API/Web services for Data delivery preferred. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
