Job Title: Data Engineer Intern
Location: Phoenix, AZ
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern at The AMS Group. As an intern, you will take on meaningful work, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in development and maintenance of database/programs. You will get the change to analyze customer data to create applications that respond to their needs and provide innovative solutions to common problems. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, collaborate and bring next level of a rapidly evolving process to our organization.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
You will be guided by structural goals and objectives and will have a responsibility to deliver inspiring projects. Your manager will offer coaching, mentoring, and direction. You will be assigned to technical projects in at least one of the following disciplines:
· Database and programing integration
· Process Flow Management/Documentation
· Technology Applications
· Application knowledge of database architecture
What are the basic qualifications?
· Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering or Data Analyst program
· Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
What are the preferred qualifications?
· Analytical and conceptual thinking, using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking
· Effective statistical analysis skills
· Effective research and communication skills
· Effective with written and oral communications
· Problem solving – being able to solve complex problems effectively and efficiently
