In our department Category Management Systems we are responsible for the technical requirements for quick product activation (time to market) and its continuous optimization.
Our goal is to build a reliable source for all product content from content through media assets.

Your role:

  • As Data Engineer (m/f/d) in our product team Feedback Management, you are key to the development of products capturing customer feedback e.g., product reviews
  • You work in an agile environment, connected not only to the E-Business in Germany but also embedded in an international roll-out strategy
  • You develop, operate and monitor ETL processes and automate and accelerate data flows
  • You develop data and analytics platforms further as well as the data warehouse architecture
  • You continuously strive for technical excellence and improvements, making our products future-proof and scalable

Your profile:

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience as Data Engineer (m/f/d) 
  • In-depth knowledge of Python, API design, data querying and ETL design (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, BigQuery) 
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (CI/CD practices, version control, IaC tools such as Terraform)
  • Good knowledge of Cloud platform solutions, ideally GCP and proficiency with tools like Airflow or Dataflow
  • Experience with data warehousing, data quality and data governance (Great Expectations or Soda)
  • Basic knowledge knowledge regarding data analysis (especially text analysis) and visualization is a plus
  • Fluent in English, German knowledge is nice-to-have but not required
